Adult Mental Health Treatment in Conyers, GA

Our adult programs support individuals experiencing mental health symptoms, substance use concerns, major life transitions, relationship difficulties, occupational stress, trauma, grief, or challenges maintaining stability in daily life.

Treatment that respects the rest of your life

Adults rarely have the option of stepping away from everything to focus on treatment. There are shifts to cover, children to pick up, and bills that do not pause. Our programs are built around that reality. Outpatient therapy fits into a normal week, and our Intensive Outpatient Program offers day and evening tracks so that more structured care does not automatically cost someone their job.

Our goal is to help each client gain greater insight, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and build a sustainable plan for long-term wellness. That means working on what is happening now, and also on the patterns underneath it.

Adult services may address:

  • Depression and anxiety
  • Post-traumatic stress and mood disorders
  • Grief, loss, stress, and burnout
  • Relationship and family concerns
  • Substance use and relapse
  • Anger management
  • Emotional-regulation difficulties
  • Life transitions and recovery after crisis
  • Personal growth and wellness

How adult treatment is structured

Care begins with a clinical assessment that looks at symptoms, history, safety, functioning, and the goals you actually care about. Based on that, we recommend a level of care: weekly outpatient therapy, or the Intensive Outpatient Program when more structure is warranted, such as after a hospitalization, a crisis, or a relapse.

Treatment may draw on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, trauma-informed interventions, mindfulness and stress management, and relapse-prevention strategies. Psychiatric evaluation and medication management are available when clinically indicated and are coordinated with your therapy rather than run separately from it.

Confidentiality and coordination

Adult treatment is confidential. We follow all applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA and the federal confidentiality regulations that apply to substance use treatment records. Information is shared with an outside provider, employer, or family member only with your written authorization, apart from the narrow situations the law requires.

When you do want coordination, we make it work. With your permission we communicate with primary care providers, psychiatrists, employee assistance programs, and community resources so your care is connected rather than fragmented.
